About Phat Games
Phat Games has been developing games independently for almost 18 years. Phat Games started out as a group of hobby game developers in 1993, developing games for DOS for 8 years before moving onto other operating system platforms.
The first games released on the Internet were in 1998 and were called Holy Conquest and Snuff. Holy Conquest was released under a Gothic style company name called "Beyond Darkness", where Snuff was released under the company name: "Phat Kids."
In the year 2000 Phat Games released their critically acclaimed game titled Kids of Karendow Chapter 1: The Dawn of a Revolution. This title was released under the name "Phat Kids Enterprises."
In 2001, Phat Games released their last game for almost 10 years - Phat Professional Burglar Classic (the 'Classic' was added in since the release of the mobile version). This game was the original version of the Phat Professional Burglar now available in the mobile market.
In December of 2010, Phat Games started the port of Phat Professional Burglar for the Windows Phone 7 market. In January of 2011, Phat Games officially returned to the independent development scene when they announced their plans to move into the mobile game market.
Phat Games has typically favoured the style of old school games for the simplicity and ease of game play which we believe to make games more enjoyable, and works extremely well on hand held devices.
Phat Games is based out of the booming game development mecha of Canada joining the ranks of a number of other game development studios that have set up offices in the country.
Phat Games invites you to enjoy our games, provide us feedback, and we greatly thank you for your support over the years and moving forward!
